Congratulations to All Runners and Walkers!

Congratulations to all runners and walkers and thank you to all the volunteers who helped us make the 2nd Annual Providence Ronald McDonald House Women's Classic a success.

We will be posting results shortly as well as your stories about the day, so check back here frequently as we add more to the site.

We welcome your feedback on the race. What did you like about the race? What could we improve upon? Add a comment below. All comments will be forwarded on to the Race Committee so that we can make the 3rd Annual race even better than this year's.

Thank you!

  1. Kudos to all who made the 2nd PMRH Women's Classic 5K a terrific success today!! The event was stellar - terrific fast course and all the amenities: technical t-shirts for the early registrants, tons of wonderful raffle prizes and awards, and great volunteers. And, as we learned at the awards, most important, all for a great cause - the Ronald McDonald House (I am a former oncology nurse so I sure know the great work they do!).
As a first place age group award winner I won not only $50, but also a lovely gift certificate for dinner -- so I am donating back my $50 for the Ronald McDonald House -- the check is on the way! Thanks for a terrific event.

  2. It was wonderful to have so many prizes and raffles, including prizes for the first FIVE in each age group, as well as the "middle of the pack" prize. Nice touch!

But...it took 2 hours to complete the prize-giving. Is there any way to make it go faster?

  3. Thank you to all the people who organized this wonderful race. The volunteers were the friendlist and most helpful I've ever met. I will be running this race again. It's a great cause to donate to as well!!.

    Thank you again,

  5. I thought it was a lot of fun and well organized. I liked the volunteers along the route cheering everyone on.

The age groups only went up to 70-79...not sure if that included everyone :)

The organizers and volunteers did a great job!

  6. I LOVED this race...so great to see such a great group of women out for a great cause. One issue is people in the 3k race running, rather than walking. Since times are posted, this seems unfair to everyone who actually walked the course.

  7. How about a Sister Race for the Men to Run???
