Katie DiCamillo wins 2010 Ronald McDonald House of Providence Women's Classic Amgen 5k - Over $25,000 raised for the House
Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Ronald McDonald House of Providence Women's Classic. You helped us raise over $25,000 for the Ronald McDonald House. This will go to help the House fulfill its mission to provide a safe comfortable place for families with children in need.
The Amgen 5k had a fantastic race at the front with PC grad Katie DiCamillo breaking the tape in 16:48. Katie ran with the pack for the first mile, hitting a 5:15 split and then edged away halfway down Blackstone Boulevard. Her second mile split was 10:44.
The winning club was the Greater Boston Track club, (Gretchen Chick, Sara Donahue, Anna Novick, Allison McCabe, & Jennifer Lee). Top Masters runner Maria-Luisa Servin and top Veteran, Jacqueline Shakar
